The Muslim Student Association here at San Diego State University is all about creating a home for students on campus. We work hard to create programs, events, and resources that meet the educational and spiritual needs of our SDSU Muslim students. Every year we grow and we are always learning how to make the MSA better. Over the past several years we have worked with different facets of the university to ensure that Muslim students feel safe and welcome at their university, but we also encourage our members to be engaged in solving problems on campus and carving the path for future generations of Muslim students.
By being involved in MSA students will become leaders, doers, problem solvers, creative thinkers, activists, and much more. Involvement in MSA is often only the beginning for our members. Because we are a part of a network of numerous student and off-campus community organizations we encourage our members to be involved in and take leaderships roles in several causes. As we continue to grow, we also continue to strive for mindful and intentional practices. As such, we are always open to criticism and feedback and we hope that members and those with an interest in MSA will always reach out to us. By the will of God, we will continue to work hard to be a unifying force on campus and a home away from home for our members.
